Biographical Information
I was born and raised in Sioux City, Iowa. Attended Bishop Heelan High School and am still an avid Crusader fan to this day. After High School I attended Iowa State University. Originally I was in the Materials Engineering program, but decided my true calling was the classroom. I transferred out of engineering into the closely related field of History and Secondary Education. I graduated with an LAS degree majoring in History and minoring in Political Science. I earned my MA from UNI in May of 2012 in Instructional Technology.
I started my teaching career in Fort Dodge at Saint Edmond High School where I taught American History, American Government, AP Government and Psychology. The Technology Director's position became available and I assumed that role along with my teaching. I left Saint Edmond to work for Arrowhead AEA. I missed being in an actual school setting so I applied and was offered the Director of Technology Position in Eagle Grove. I am currently in my 10th year at Eagle Grove.
